Established in 2008, Socowave is headquartered in the NovaUCD Innovation Park, Dublin with its R&D centre based in the National Software Centre in Cork, Ireland.
Initially, Socowave licensed university research outputs (patent+) in array calibration and set out to solve some key cellular application challenges. After completing proof-of-concept work in 2009 we secured investment to fund the development of a commercial-grade active antenna system solution. We have three external investors: Enterprise Ireland (government agency), Balderton Capital and Analog Devices.
