Socowave raised its inital capital from private investors and Enterprise Ireland. In late 2010, Socowave closed a Series A funding round led by Balderton Capital followed shortly afterward (2011) by a strategic investment by Analog Devices International.

The global devices manufacturer made a minor investment in Socowave in February 2011, this investment was also supported by a technology cooperation agreement.
